March, 2003

In February our N.E.O.R.Q.C. Getaway was a big success. I taught my pattern, "Currants and Coxcombs". We had a fun group of ladies and everyone left with a near finished project after 12 hours of classroom time. I'll be teaching the larger quilt, "More Currants and Coxcombs" at Quiltescape this fall. Also The Frederick Talbott Inn is scheduling Quilt Road Trips at their Bed & Breakfast Inn. I'm scheduled to be there July 11- July 13, 2003. All year long The Frederick Talbott Inn has different designers and instructors teaching workshops. This would be a great way to take that mini-vacation with your quilting friends or come by yourself and meet new friends..... Sounds like something out of the "Elm Creek Quilts" novels.........
The newest excitement around the Bragg household this month is that the summer issue of "Quilt" magazine just hit the news stands and my blue and yellow basket quilt, "Diversify" made the front cover. Now back to the studio. There's more quilts to make.
